MORE ABOUT THE EVENT:
The section of Stadium Dr. between University Dr and 10th St. are closed for the start and finish celebrations. A TTU police escort is provided, and emergency services are on-call. The race happens rain or shine; there are no refunds. Strollers and walkers are welcome and should group behind all runners at the start line. No pets allowed without a doggy bag. The USATF Certified Course #TN14097MS is chip timed for 70 min.
Proceeds from this 2019 American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) event will be divided to support fundraising for (1) TTU scholarship funds, (2) a Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinic in Cookeville, and the missions of the TTU Chemistry Department student organizations: (3) the Student Members of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates (SM-ACS), and (4) ASBMB. The ASBMB and SM-ACS student groups will direct funds toward student research and science outreach activities.
